Terms & conditions for Monk Amsterdam

All products and services sold on https://monkamsterdam.com are subjected to the general terms and conditions. You can find the link to the terms and conditions at the bottom of the homepage. Customers who want to receive a hard copy can request this via the contact page on the website or by sending an email to info@monkamsterdam.com. Moreover, the buyer must confirm that he or she agrees with the terms and conditions in order to purchase an item. The buyer must inform Monk Amsterdam in case the wrong item has been shipped and received within one week, but preferably as fast as possible. In addition, the buyer is responsible for shipping the items back and will be refunded for this. Monk Amsterdam will ship the correct item(s) to the customer.


All prices on the website are in euros (€) and include 21% VAT unless stated otherwise. We strive to make sure all prices are displayed correctly, we do retain the right to decline orders that are made when an incorrect price was shown. So, Monk Amsterdam has the right to decline orders and will refund the buyer when necessary.


You can specify what information you would like to have on the invoice during the ordering process. This can be separate from your shipping address. Importantly, please note that after we have shipped the order, we cannot change the information on the invoice.

Business purchases

Monk Amsterdam website is designed for consumers. As such when you ordered something on the website you acknowledge that you do not need a business or company invoice.  Therefore, if you would like to make a business order, please contact us by sending an email at info@monkamsterdam.com


Monk Amsterdam will ship the products to the address provided by the customer. Also, it is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that the provided address is correct and that he or she is able to receive packages at this address.
Moreover, the customer has to inform Monk Amsterdam within 3 business days by sending an email to support@monkamsterdam.com, in the unlikely event the product(s) arrive damaged or broken. Upon request, the customer has to provide clear pictures of the damaged products or boxes. Products that arrive broken or damaged will need to send back to Monk Amsterdam in order to receive a refund of a working model.

Right of withdrawal

The buyer has two weeks to revoke to purchase and to return the order, in accordance with Dutch law. In addition, the buyer must take care of the packing and the products and handle them with care. The buyer is only allowed to unpack the products to examine them and make sure they meet his or her expectations.


All Monk Amsterdam products come with one year of limited warranty. The period of warranty starts the same day as the date on the invoice.

Excluded from warranty

The warranty offers by Monk Amsterdam does not cover:
Lost and stolen watches
Accidental damage such as, but not limited to, falling, impact damage, fractures and water damage
Physical alterations and modification made to the watch, housing or watch strap
Battery, watch strap, crown, and glass
